A Swedish golfer with a major on her record
Pernilla Lindberg is a Swedish golfer from Bollnäs and the 2018 ANA Inspiration champion. A 2016 Olympian and an LPGA Tour member since 2010, she still tees it up each year at the Chevron Championship. She is an expert golf commentator for Viaplay and hosts Stockholm Pro Access, pro experiences for golfers visiting Stockholm, run by her husband, Daniel Taylor.

Eight extra holes. Two days. One major.
Pernilla’s first professional win came at the 2018 ANA Inspiration (now the Chevron Championship), at Mission Hills Country Club.
Tied after 72 holes, she went to a sudden-death playoff with Inbee Park and Jennifer Song. Play was halted by darkness on Sunday night and resumed on Monday morning. On the eighth extra hole, a major-championship record, Pernilla holed a 30-foot birdie putt to beat Inbee Park.
Then came the traditional winner’s leap into Poppie’s Pond, with her parents and her caddie, Daniel.
